I got tired of watching good businesses get priced out

I've spent years building websites for tradespeople and small firms around East Lancashire, and the same thing kept happening. Someone brilliant at their job — a roofer, a joiner, a supplier who'd been going thirty years — would ring round a few agencies, get quoted two or three thousand pounds, and quietly decide they'd manage with a Facebook page instead.

That never sat right with me. The work isn't worth three grand and it never was. So I stopped charging for the build. I make the site, you look at it, and if it's not what you wanted you walk away and it's cost you nothing but the two minutes it took to tell me about your business.

Every website here is built by me personally. I take the brief, I do the design, I write the code, and I'm the one who checks it works on a phone before it goes anywhere near your customers.

My degree is in forensic computing — three years spent taking systems apart to work out how they broke and who broke them. It's odd training for this, but it means I build things knowing exactly how they fail.

I'm not a chatbot and I'm not a call centre. When you ring 07834 234782, it's my phone that goes.

Right, what's the catch?

Fair question. Here are the honest answers.

How can the build genuinely be free?

Because we're betting you'll stay. A one-off build earns us once; a business that keeps its site online for years earns us steadily. That only works if the website is actually good and you actually want to keep it — so the incentive sits in the right place.

Am I tied into a contract?

No. It's a rolling monthly payment you can stop whenever you like. There's no minimum term and no exit fee.

What happens to my site if I cancel?

The website comes offline and the domain stays yours — we'll transfer it to you or to whoever you move to. We won't hold your domain hostage.

Do I need to write anything or send photos?

No. We write the words for you based on your answers, and we'll use good stock photography if you haven't got your own. If you do have photos of your work, even better — send them over and we'll use them.

What if I don't like it?

Tell us and we'll change it. If it's still not right, walk away — you've paid nothing and you owe nothing. That's the whole point of building it first.

I've already got a website. Can you redo it?

Yes, and it's the same deal — we rebuild it free and you only pay once you prefer the new one. Mention your current address in the form and we'll take a look before we start.
